Steven Spielberg's new movie "The Post" is "peak boomer" cinema, geared at a particular demographic for a very specific purpose. Anti-Trump by proxy (with Nixon as his convenient historical stand-in), "The Post" portrays the mainstream press as a paragon of integrity boldly seeking to expose governmental wrongdoing (rather than as a "Mockingbird"-infested swamp of complicity and CIA-collusion).

In the video below, I relate my thoughts on this movie, the brainwashed nature of its built-in audience, and the dubiousness of its claims.
